Lightning Lane access isn’t the only feature available with a $15 purchase of Genie+. Guests are also able to listen to “Audio Tales,” new podcast-like clips of audio that give them behind-the-scenes information about Walt Disney World.
If you purchase Genie+, you may notice Audio Tales listed alongside AR lenses as additional features.
Audio Tales will also appear in the My Day section of Disney Genie as recommendations.
A map of the park will show you all the locations with corresponding Audio Tales.
When you click on an Audio Tale, there will be a CC icon in the upper right corner to turn captions on.
On the screen during the Audio Tale, there will just be one image. For example, this Norway Pavilion Audio Tale discussed the various Norse gods over this picture of a Viking statue.
Audio Tales are about attractions, buildings, and more, all inspired by Walt Disney Imagineering notes.
At the Magic Kingdom, you can listen to stories about Cinderella Castle, the Main Street, U.S.A. windows, and more.
Will you check out the Audio Tales during your visit to Walt Disney World? Let us know in the comments.

I will check it out this weekend. I am very interested in how people like this as it is similar to the new audio augmented reality storytelling app I built at ChalkNotes.com
