It was a perfect fall day here at Magic Kingdom. We had a Pumpkin Spice Latte in our hands and Lightning Lane ready to go on our app. Let’s get down to it.

We started off our day by purchasing the Disney Genie+ service for $15 per ticket plus tax. We then immediately choose our first Lightning Lane of the day. We decided to take a flight with Peter Pan.

With a little bit of time before our first attraction, we stopped at the Emporium and found a Mickey Mouse 50th Anniversary Pen.

Then we found a new pink corduroy hat perfect for the chilly weather coming.
It was onto the Hub once our shopping was done. Time to take some pictures with the new AR PhotoPass Lenses that come with a Disney Genie+ purchase.
Our favorite was the castle transformations. These can only be done at Magic Kingdom. We lived our best Disney fanatic dream while we watched the castle transform.
The AR PhotoPass Lenses made our day more special.

At Frontier Trading Post, we found two new Limited Edition pins.

Ursula is the next character for the Artfully Evil collection.

The Mickey and Minnie pin is a Passholder exclusive.

Time for our first Lightning Lane experience and attraction. Peter Pan! Off to Neverland we go as we zoom past the standby line. Lightning Lane allows a grace period for early and late arrivals.
Audio Tales are podcast-like stories that gave us some behind-the-scenes knowledge about buildings, attractions, and more around the theme park. These are all inspired by Walt Disney Imagineering notes.
Audio Tales are part of your purchase of Disney Genie+ and are available at all the theme parks.

Over at Seven Dwarfs’ Mine Train, we noticed that their Lightning Lane situation got off to a rocky start. This attraction was not included in our Disney Genie+ purchase and must be purchased separately and at an additional cost. Guests were confused over how to use the new service.

We did 11 rides, had lunch, and took unforgettable pictures throughout the day with the help of our Genie. In the afternoon, we rode six attractions in a row!
Genie granted our wishes today and helped us zoom through the park. Will you be taking in the Lightning Lane at your next Walt Disney World trip?
