With Creations Shop off and running at EPCOT, the former site of MouseGear is currently being gutted.

The building temporarily housed the park’s main store while the former building was being remodeled into Creations Shop from January 2020 to September 2021.

Virtually all traces of MouseGear have been removed. The portion of the entrance that held the shop’s sign has been ripped off, showing just how much framework is currently exposed.

Over on the east side of the building, dumpsters and some construction equipment have been set up, likely to get this section of the former Innoventions East ready to be home to a new quick-service restaurant and Starbucks location.

As one store begins its tenure, another has reached its end. It’s all a part of the ongoing reimagining of EPCOT, making the park a hub of transformation.
