The holidays are almost here once again at Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, and that, of course, means plenty of special food and drinks to ring in the most wonderful time of the year! There’s so many meals, drinks, and snacks to introduce, including the second phase of the Seasonal Taste Selections meals during Tokyo DisneySea’s 20th Anniversary “Time to Shine!” celebration.

Tokyo Disneyland

Plaza Pavilion Special Set – ¥2080 ($18.58)

Consists of shepherd’s pie, clam chowder with fettuccine, white fish fritters with shrimp, a tea chiffon cake, and choice of soft drink.

Blue Bayou Restaurant Course – ¥6500 ($58.06)

The latest set at Blue Bayou goes on sale on December 1 and contains a cappuccino-style seafood gumbo, snow crab salad, couscous galette and beef mousse with almonds, braised beef in red wine and roast beef with truffle sauce, bread, and a strawberry and yuzu mousse cake with macarons.

Refreshment Corner Special Set – ¥1040 ($9.29)

The gratin-style bacon and cheese hot dog also comes with fries and a soft drink.

Chocolate Churro – ¥450 ($4.02)

The annual tradition returns at Tokyo Disney Resort, but only to Tokyo Disneyland this year, as Tokyo DisneySea currently has the superior (in our eyes) Chocolate Fondant Churro for the 20th Anniversary celebration. You can read our thoughts on this treat from our review in 2019. This year, you can find the Chocolate Churro at The Gazebo and Pecos Bill Cafe.

Iced White Chocolate Tapioca Milk Tea – ¥550 ($4.91)

This new drink will be available at Refreshment Corner and Camp Woodchuck Kitchen.

Souvenir Lunch Case, Wristband, & Placemat – +¥1500 ($13.40)

This jolly ensemble may be added to any special set for the above price at Sweetheart Cafe, Refreshment Corner, Camp Woodchuck Kitchen, Captain Hook’s Galley, and Tomorrowland Terrace.

Strawberry & Milk Mousse Cake with Souvenir Cup – ¥850 ($7.59)

Shepherd’s Pie Bread – ¥1390 ($12.42)

The Shepherd’s Pie Bread will be available at Cafe Portofino.

New York Deli Special Set – ¥1260 ($11.26)

This year’s sandwich is a repeat from Disney Christmas 2019, with a honey mustard and camembert chicken sandwich. We had plenty of positive thoughts the first time around, and we’re looking forward to its return this year!

S.S. Columbia Dining Room Set – ¥6800 ($60.74)

S.S. Columbia Dining Hall is going all-out this year, with a candle-shaped snow crab and turnip salad, oven-baked sea bream and lobster, roast beef with barbecue sauce, white wine sauce, and sauce Americaine, cheese popovers, bread, and a pistachio cream and strawberry verrine and chocolate cake for dessert.

Magellan’s Special Course – ¥9800 ($87.54)

Magellan’s, widely regarded as the resort’s premium restaurant, will serve an expansive course for the holidays. Guests will start with a welcome drink, moving on to a salmon, sweet potato and two cheese terrine with crab salad and beet espuma with caviar. After, a salted and marinated mackerel vapeur, parsnip purée, and lobster foam. The main course is a roasted black wagyu beef with tarragon sauce. Then, bread and dessert, which consists of a terrine chocolat with raspberry sauce and chocolate ice cream and a choice of coffee or tea.

Restaurant Sakura Special Set – ¥3800 ($33.95)

Being the Japanese restaurant of the park, Restaurant Sakura is serving a more traditional set, with a grilled pollack with soy sauce, a grilled and marinated wagyu beef, two types of sushi (boiled conger eel, shrimp and cream cheese, prosciutto ham, and broiled egg), deep-fried crab claws with almonds, miso soup, and a warabi mochi rice cake with azuki bean jam filling.

Cafe Portofino Special Set – ¥2980 ($26.62)

This season’s special set at Cafe Portofino consists of a white kidney bean soup, a beef sirloin cutlet with five cheeses and Genovese sauce, bread, a raspberry cream & almond chocolate cake, and choice of soft drink.

Ristorante di Canaletto Special Set – ¥4900 ($43.77)

This set starts off with an antipasto misto of chilled duck with orange mustard sauce, salmon trout and octopus, Neapolitan salami, and mozzarella mare e monte shrimp and mushroom pasta, a sea bream aqua pazza, Panettone with ricotta cream and chocolate ice cream, and choice of coffee or tea.

Horizon Bay Restaurant Special Set – ¥2980 ($26.62)

The special set at Horizon Bay Restaurant follows the usual format, opening with a shrimp cream soup, followed by grilled beef in a demi-glace sauce served with cheesy mashed potatoes, choice of bread or rice, raspberry mousse served with strawberries, and choice of soft drink.

Maple-Flavored Hot Apple Drink – ¥550 ($4.91)

This toasty winter treat will be available at Zambini Brothers Ristorante, Dockside Diner, and Yucatan Base Camp Grill.

Vodka & Salted Caramel Syrup Almond Coffee Cocktail – ¥780 ($6.97)
