Last week, we told you about the new 50th anniversary medallions and pressed pennies available at Magic Kingdom. Now, you can get even more collectible coins at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
50th Anniversary Collectible Medallions at Disney’s Contemporary Resort – $5 each/$15 for 4
Each medallion features Mickey Mouse in the center surrounded by stars and the 50th logo above his head. “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” & “Walt Disney World” appear around the outside.
The other side of each one offers a variety of classic Disney character choices. There’s Pinocchio, Bo Peep, and Tramp from “Lady and the Tramp.” A fourth medallion features Mickey and Minnie on a special 50th Anniversary Contemporary Resort coin.
There is also a collectible pressed penny machine at the Contemporary Resort.

The special 50th anniversary designs include the Mickey and Minnie Contemporary Resort design, and three pennies featuring the 50th logo and a character: Gus, Bambi, and Donald Duck.

50 pennies only! Baby Groot and Rocket have not been released. (Likely coming in 2022 in Epcot with the new ride.)
