Not to be overshadowed by the 50th anniversary celebrations around Walt Disney World, new Halloween treats are still arriving. When we stopped by the Market at Ale & Compass to try the 50th tart, we also sampled these not-so-scary snacks.
Mummy Cupcake – $5.29
Chocolate Cupcake filled with Pumpkin-flavored Mousse, decorated with Buttercream, and White Sprinkles
This was a basic chocolate cupcake with pumpkin-flavored mousse. The pumpkin mousse is divine. The perfect addition to a standard cupcake. The chocolate cupcake is light and moist. This was an excellent twist on a classic treat, and we recommend making a trip over to try it.
Tiramisù Grave – $5.49
A Classic Tiramisù with a Skeleton made out of Pretzels and a Marshmallow
Flavor-wise, this was a basic, but good, tiramisù. It’s not the cutest Halloween treat we’ve seen, but it’s unique. It had three white chocolate-covered pretzels, one marshmallow, and a cookie to create the grave and skeleton. It’s much more interesting than the 50th tiramisù from Disney’s Riviera Resort.
