Though Walt Disney World is already gearing up for the holidays, there are still some tricks and treats left for the Halloween season. We visited The Ganachery at Disney Springs to try out the new “Hocus Pocus” themed cocoa bomb.
The shelf with the cocoa bombs had a “Hocus Pocus” sign. You may also recognize the Mickey mummy piñata we already reviewed.
Sister’s Elixir Cauldron Cocoa Bomb – $14
The cocoa bombs come in a box and are limited to two per person.
The box has recommended preparation instructions for using the cauldron bomb to make a cup of hot cocoa. We got some hot milk from Starbucks to create our drink.
The bomb is a chocolate cauldron with an image of the Sanderson sisters on top. It comes with a chocolate broom for stirring your concoction.
Here’s our bomb melting in our cup before we poured hot milk over it.
As you can see, the bomb melted with the milk pretty quickly.
This was outstanding. Not only is the design adorable, but the taste is addicting.
The high-quality chocolate makes this stand out. It’s an amazing blend of rich and sweet flavors. If you aren’t a fan of dark chocolate, then it might be a bit too much after a while, but it was just rich enough for us.
The drink becomes darker the more mixed together it is.
Green marshmallows inside add a little extra hint of sugar.
It’s a delicious and extremely chocolatey treat. We definitely recommend it for an evening enjoying Disney Springs.
