It feels like we’ve already tried 999 new 50th anniversary treats at Walt Disney World, but there’s always room for 1,000. Sleepy Hollow Refreshments at Magic Kingdom is serving The Doom Berry, named for The Haunted Mansion’s doom buggies.

The Doom Berry – $4.99
Blackberry ginger beer with EARidescent sugar served with a Haunted Mansion themed straw

Unfortunately, this drink was a disappointment. It really just tasted like ginger beer and sugar, which don’t mix well.

You taste the ginger flavor first and then the sugar water on the backend. We didn’t get much of a blackberry flavor.

The only good thing about this drink is the cute purple wallpaper straw.

Your opinion. My son amd I loved it.
I actually really enjoyed it but I’m also a huge fan of anything ginger.
Unfortunately, we have been incredibly disappointed with the desserts and drinks. Tasteless and overpriced. We have been DVC members and annual pass holders for years now and the 1 thing disney needs to improve on is their food. Hopefully they do a better job making sure food is fresh instead of sitting at the windows for a long period of time waiting for people to buy it. I would rather wait for the food and have it fresh.
