With the launch of Disney Genie in My Disney Experience, we’re testing Genie+ and individual Lightning Lane selections at Walt Disney World. Of course, one of the most popular rides is Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, so that was one the first attraction we booked at 7:00 a.m.
At that time, we were able to book an individual Lightning Lane return time for 10:15 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.
Lightning Lane availability continues to be updated, with the Tip Board in My Disney Experience showing the next available time. By 9:15 a.m., the next window was starting at 7:00 p.m.
At 9:30 a.m., individual Lightning Lane was “not currently offered.” It’s possible more times will open up later in the day.
Lightning Lane access for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is $15.

So correct me if I am wrong, but you were able to book the $15 rise without doing the $15 genie+? That’s huge news.
