Today at Destination D23, a new project for the Downtown Disney District was announced. The former AMC Theater will be removed to make way for a new green space plus reimagined shopping and dining.
We have now learned that, as part of this project, more venues will close. Earl of Sandwich, Sugarboo & Co., and Starbucks are all slated to close in January 2022.

The concept art above was released with the announcement this morning. The area will feature mid-century modern designs and an open space for relaxation.

Real bummer…LOVE Earl of Sandwich!
So now where do I get Starbucks for breakfast before park opening lol. I wonder if it’ll reopen because that place prints money.
There’s another Starbucks
Wait, is that a monorail I see? Are they actually expanding the monorail to run throughout the Disney bubble?
It’s Disneyland, NOT WDW… Thought the same thing too! The monorail already runs near the AMC theater.
Monorail?
I love Sugarboo! Noooooo!
Oh no! I love Earl of Sandwich! The pineapple ham sandwich :( I’m so glad I went there during our last visit a couple of weeks ago
Please tell me that Earl of Sandwich will relocate in Disney !!! Best food EVER !!

There is no Downtown Disney at Walt Disney World.
