Now that Halloween is over, Christmas decorations are appearing at Magic Kingdom. In Adventureland, Jungle Cruise has been transformed overnight into “Jingle Cruise,” a holiday version of the classic attraction. This year, the Jingle Cruise is a little different due to the new and altered scenes aboard the ride.
Before we got on the ride, there were plenty of Christmas decorations to look at.
Themed wreaths now adorn the streetlights outside Jungle Cruise.
This wreath resembles a reindeer, with antlers and a red nose.
The skull on top of a nearby pole now wears a Santa hat.
Each wreath has different plants and baubles attached to it.
The sign has yet to be updated to say “Jingle” Cruise.
Garland and more decorations can be found throughout the attraction’s queue.
There’s a row of poinsettia-like bows near the ceiling by the entrance.
A banner by the exit proclaims, “Happy Gnu Year!”
The nearby chalkboard has been updated with New Year’s resolutions.
The resolutions include “Go back to school,” “eat more,” “75% passenger return rate,” and “be funny.”
A New Year’s ball can be found in the rafters.
Other tinsel covered items are up there as well.
New Year’s beads and other accessories are waiting to be used on December 31.
The skippers are more excited than anyone about the Jingle Cruise.
Most of the boats are decorated in one way or another.
They have garland wrapped around the lantern pole on the front.
Each boat also gets a holiday name for Jingle Cruise.
Here we have Yule Log Lolly.
Garland Gertie.
Mistletoe Millie.
Orinococoa Ida.
Eggnog Annie.
Poinsettia Sal.
Icicle Irma.
Sleigh Ride Sadie.
Brrrrr Bertha.
As guests walk through the queue, they may notice some wrapped presents and Christmas trees.
This tree is decorated with tropical flowers.
A banner says “Santa, please stop here!” above a painted fireplace with stockings.
There are more red flowers near the fallen cage.
A bamboo Christmas tree has been constructed and installed behind the cage.
In the Skipper office, there are even more colorful decorations.
Some Christmas lights dangle over the wall shelves.
Red and white knit garland is draped throughout the office.
There are poinsettias and red bows everywhere.
A silver tree sits on the desk.
This banner proclaims, “Here we go a-wassailing…”
All of the decorations are meant to look handmade from things the Jungle Cruise skippers would have found around the dock.
More Christmas lights are hanging above part of the queue.
This wreath is made out of pieces of wood.
Burlap stockings are packed full of presents.
A Santa Claus decoration hangs from the wall.
This drum holds Christmas crackers, a Santa decoration, and gloves.
Ornaments are wrapped in nets.
There’s a basket full of ornaments too.
Some mainstays of the queue have been decorated with bows.
Candy canes hang from the ceiling.
This garland is made from green fabric.
There are red bells decorated with white snowflakes and trees.
One of the life preservers is decorated to look like a wreath.
Spider warning…
The tarantula even has a Santa hat.
There’s a sign for the crew mess dinner menu, which will be serving turkey for the foreseeable future.
Next to the river is a big banner reading “Jungle All The Way!”
The boathouse is covered in Christmas lights and ornaments.
Red and gold garland is wrapped around the railings.
There’s a Christmas tree and a light-up snowman. A Santa Claus face hangs from the wall.
On the center dock is a “snowman” made out of sacks.
Finally, it was our turn to ride! With all the recent changes to Jungle Cruise, we were excited to see how Jingle Cruise would be different from previous years. Check out our photos from Jingle Cruise, and then watch our full ride-through below.
At the beginning of the ride is a pile of crates next to a torn parachute.
One crate reads, “Do not open til Christmas.”
Santa hats, stockings, and garlands have spilled all over the jungle.
The canoes in the new Boats & Baits and Bites scene all have golden bows at the end of them.
The Boats & Baits kiosk has garland on the counter and a wreath on the side.
Presents have been scattered across the beach in the next scene. A red wreath is on the front of the overturned jeep.
The apes in the tent have dressed up in scarves and hats.
The reimagined trapped safari has a little more Christmas cheer with presents and decorations scattered on the ground.
The crate addressed to “Nilo Nemolato” is a reference to Paul Giamatti’s character from the recent “Jungle Cruise” film.
The rhino doesn’t look too happy about the bundt cake on one of his tusks.
In one of the new scenes, this decorated boat has been overrun with monkeys. It has tinsel and ornaments on its lantern pole.
A wreath featuring a teddy bear hangs near the back of the broken boat.
The boat’s name also got a Christmas update. It’s now the Kongo Kringle.
More presents have crash-landed outside the Cambodian temple.
Inside the temple, a tiger holds a skipper’s Santa hat in its mouth.
Elsewhere in the dark temple, monkeys play with presents.
Finally, Trader Sam has decorated his new “lost & found” gift shop for the holidays.
There’s a small Christmas tree decorated with bells. The old gramophone has a gold bow on it.
Another teddy bear wreath sits at the front of the kiosk.
Garland lines the front of the kiosk.

Is that red outfit to the right of the “Back in 15 minutes” sign the old “Trader Samta” outfit? Looks similar.
Did a little searching, and WDWNT’s photo report from 2019 captured Trader Samta wearing it. (See the last photo: https://wdwnt.com/2019/11/photos-video-the-world-famous-jingle-cruise-returns-to-the-magic-kingdom-for-2019/). Nice touch Imagineers!
