This month’s limited edition cookie now available at Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs celebrates Day of the Dead.

The November menu is also Day of the Dead-inspired, with a character wearing a sombrero and surrounded by candles and marigolds on the front.

The Calavera Cookie is a chocolate churro cookie.

This tastes similar to the triple chocolate cookies that Gideon’s offers year-round.

It has a rich chocolate flavor, but the cinnamon is not very present.

The cayenne and ancho don’t have strong flavors either. They just provide a bit of heat.

The dulce de leche filling is a nice touch and not too sweet. It offers a buttery, caramel flavor that balances out the spice.

This is a decent cookie, but not one of Gideon’s best.
