Disney Live Entertainment is now accepting online submissions for roles at Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor in Magic Kingdom.
The posting on the Disney Auditions site asks for Central Florida actors of all abilities and gender identities with “strong voice characterizations, quick wit, and comedic improv skills.”
They are hiring for the following roles:
Buddy/Betty Boil: A lovable oaf of a monster with the wannabe flair of a stand-up comedian. He “warms up” the audience as they enter the theater.
Marty: The little nephew of Mike Wazowski whose voice reflects his boyish energy, charm and innocence. He has an “eye” for puns.
They are accepting submissions for Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor through November 26, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. ET at jobs.disneycareers.com/auditions.

Laugh Floor is open, so is this some kind of expansion? Or they working the current cast members too hard or something? I know it’s an interactive show, but maybe turnover has become a problem with the show? Just seems a bit odd, unless the current cast members really suck?
They are hiring for every position because they spit on half their employees and now we won’t come back. Not until you come on your knees at my door.
