Disneyland After Dark Hard-Ticket Event Returning in 2022 With Sweethearts’ Nite, Villains Nite, and “Star Wars” Nite

Disneyland After Dark events are returning to the Disneyland Resort in 2022 with Sweethearts’ Nite, Villains Nite, and “Star Wars” Nite. Disneyland is offering more nights than ever before of each of these limited-time, after-hours events.

Disneyland After Dark events take place after regular park hours and feature unique themes, fun festivities, special nighttime entertainment, and access to most attractions with reduced wait times. Guests also experience special offerings that are not typically available during a regular park visit.

With each separately ticketed Disneyland After Dark event, guests get four hours of non-stop fun after the parks close to day guests. They get even more time to play during the three-hour pre-party mix-in at the same park the event takes place in, which is included with each ticket.

Additionally, at each of these events, guests receive unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass photos taken during the party, plus commemorative keepsakes including a souvenir credential and event guide map.

Here are the details for each of the upcoming themed nights:

  1. woah, i never knew Disney Villains were popular these days in Disney California Adventure. perhaps the other Disney resorts (in this case: Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, Tokyo Disney Resort, Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney World and Disneyland Park should deserve to have villain-themed events.)

  2. Not too happy that I had to pay an extra $200 to keep my three Star Wars Nite tickets that are during celebration weekend. Why are the other two dates not up-charged?

    1. yeah, but i wonder if the Villains nite will have a fountain show featuring new versions of various villainous songs such as a jazz rendition of Poor Unfortunate Souls and perhaps a hard rock rendition of Be Prepared.
