The transformation of World Celebration continues at EPCOT, so we popped by for the latest look at the state of construction.
From the Walt Disney World Monorail, we can see that there’s plenty of work happening both on both the interior and exterior of the future site of Connections Café and Eatery.
Moving around to Dreamers Point, much of the land has been cleared where the new statue of Walt Disney will be installed.
Tents have been set up around the site’s perimeter to accommodate the construction workers.
Closer to Spaceship Earth, scaffolding has been set up around a concrete structure.
The center has become a hotbed of activity, with trucks and plenty of construction materials staged.
Meanwhile, an excavator is pulling up dirt on the western end of the site.
What looks like the early stages of a pathway can be seen as we move towards The Land, not far from the Journey of Water.
Structures are being built for this interactive offering inspired by “Moana”.
The various ditches and dirt piles give the area a multi-leveled look.
From the ground level, construction workers could be seen on the scaffolding outside Connections Café and Eatery.
Their focus was on the windows, which they appear to be in the process of replacing.
Meanwhile, a section of the roof remains exposed as crews continue to remodel it.
From the breezeway, we spotted workers on the scaffolding that was recently erected.
The circular light fixtures seen in Creations Shop will extend to the new restaurants, giving the area a unified look.
Inside, metal frameworks can be seen through the windows, along with the ceiling grating.
Both outside and inside, the future of EPCOT keeps marching forward.
