Construction walls have been removed and replaced with new blue fencing at the old site of Primeval Whirl in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Primeval Whirl permanently closed in early 2020 and was completely demolished this fall.
The open area remains blocked off with green temporary fencing right now.
Orange fans are on blue wooden posts around the square seating area.
There are no seats in the area yet, but Cast Members told us it would be a seating area, and benches are now pictured in the area on the Disney’s Animal Kingdom digital map.

Of all the cheap, penny pinching moves…this takes the cake. Disney World is imploding in glorious fashion. Five years from now they will scratch their heads wondering why people are no longer visiting Disney World.

So the park with the least amount of rides has one less so they could make more room to just sit……brilliant……what genius will chapek come up with next?!
As far as I’m concerned, a seating area is already an improvement over what previously took up space there.
