This summer, it became clear that the wall decals in the queue of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disney’s Hollywood Studios were not holding up to guests. Eventually, the decals were completely removed and the walls were painted plain white.

The murals have now been restored with new decals.

These murals continue the Chinese Theater theming of the building.

All of the gold sections have a sparkle to them.

Hopefully, this version of the mural won’t get destroyed like the last.

They shouldn’t have needed to replace them so soon. People can be real jerks when it’s not their property.
With all wdw makes we cant have someone paint w stencils we have to get decals (thats what you put on your wall at home and is not permanant. I would be more than happy to do it for them! So would my 13 yr old whose a great artist and wants to wrk for wdi. It be like a pre internship for him. Honestly though most art stores sell gold paint and stencils and if you got an artist you can get them to paint it without the stencils whatever you want would even throw in a hidden mickey or hidden chubby bird to stay on theme of ride.
Wow thats what you get wdw for firing the great animators and even artists whom worked animation after anyone of them could have taken half a day to paint it for you… really decals is this an at home project or a theme park?
Unless they did something different this time around, like painting the gold artwork vs stickers again, same thing will happen again. Disney used to understand reliable engineering once upon a time.
