If you’re a Wishables collector, today is the day to be at Walt Disney World, as several releases have arrived simultaneously. Let’s take a look at what’s new!
“The Lion King” Wishables
Hakuna Matata! The latest release of Wishables, starring the cast of “The Lion King,” has finally taken its place on store shelves.
Their debut comes nearly a month after they first appeared on shopDisney, and almost three weeks after we found them at the Disneyland Resort. Let’s take a look at the lineup!
Young Simba Wishables Plush – $14.99
Given that Simba’s the film’s protagonist, it’s only fitting that he would be the open Wishable in this limited release collection outside of the mystery bags.
This cutie’s tail has a fuzzy tip that stands out against the smooth fabric.
In keeping with the Wishables’ style, the young cub has stars in his eyes… quite literally!
“The Lion King” Wishables Mystery Bag – $14.99
The mystery bag features one of four beloved characters: young Nala, Rafiki, Timon, and Pumbaa.
So far, we haven’t seen what the chase character is in this collection.
Timon
The beloved meerkat looks ready for an easy day in Adventureland.
Pumbaa
As luck would have it, the other mystery bag we purchased had Timon’s inseparable buddy, Pumbaa!
Who knew warthogs could look so adorable!
Put together with Simba, they make an incredible trio.
Fantasmic! Wishables Mystery Bag – $14.99

Even though Fantasmic! won’t be returning to Walt Disney World until next year, a collection themed to the nighttime spectacular is now available.

Maleficent

Maleficent is in her dragon form, much like in the actual Fantasmic! show. Fantasmic! will return to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 2022 with new sequences.

The mystery bags have arrived at Magic Kingdom, but the photos of the plush are from earlier this year when the series arrived at Disneyland. The open edition plush of Sorcerer Mickey has yet to arrive at the Magic Kingdom.

Steamboat Willie Mickey Mouse
Mickey Mouse, as he appears in the classic cartoon “Steamboat Willie,” is also part of the collection.
The character appears mostly in black, white, and gray, with just a touch of pink in his cheeks.
Chernabog
The Chernabog Wishable is equal parts cute and terrifying.
Enchanted Broom
Meanwhile, an enchanted broom from “Fantasia” sweeps up our look at this collection.
Christmas Wishables 12-Day Countdown Calendar – $99.99
Even though it’s only three days until Christmas, Wishables collectors can get ready for the holiday with a 12-Day Countdown Calendar, which is finally available at Walt Disney World.
The calendar, which features a dozen Wishables in a Christmas tree-shaped box, previously debuted at the Disneyland Resort in early November. The shipments were likely delayed, which would explain why they arrived so close to Christmas.
On the bright side, if you’re the kind of person who likes opening up all the compartments at once, you can open up nine of them and still have enough left for the next three days.
While the actual Wishables are hidden away, the box does feature characters in the Wishables style, wearing festive holiday apparel, which could be a clue as to what awaits inside.
Mickey Mouse gets in on the fun dressed as none other than Santa Claus!
The reverse features the tabs to open the compartments, so the front can still be displayed for decoration.
That being said, the stylized ornaments make it a pretty display on its own!
The calendar retails for $99.99.
We found all of these items at the Emporium in the Magic Kingdom.

oh i’m so excited for the return of “Fantasmic!” in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and i wonder if the new show in addition of having new dialogue for Mickey, i wonder if it feature vocal clips from some previous Mickey Mouse releated productions such as “Epic Mickey” and “Mickey Mouse Mixed Up Adventures” for certains scenes in addition of some of his dialogue that was used on Fantasmic 2.0 in Disneyland Park in california such as his screams and laughs.
