In the ongoing issues caused by the Amazon Web Services outage, some guests are now unable to enter Walt Disney World theme parks.

A line at Guest Relations outside Magic Kingdom was quoted as a two-hour wait as guests with physical ticket media are currently unable to use the tapstiles to enter the park.

Cast Members reported that MagicBands and Magic Mobile were both working at the tapstiles, but physical ticket media is not. Additionally, many guests are finding that their park reservations have disappeared from My Disney Experience.

Guests using the Disability Access Service (DAS) will need to visit Guest Relations to get a paper DAS card, as the outage is affecting the digital service.

This is a developing story, so stay tuned to WDWNT for more updates.

    • This was an Amazon Web Services (AWS) issue, not specific to Disney. My company was affected as well, nothing we could do on our side until AWS fix went in.

  1. Why does this not surprise me. So sad for guests that are trying to enjoy a much deserved vacation. My husband and myself were supposed to be there on this very day but had canceled in the beginning of the year. We will see what next year brings.

  2. We have tried for four hours to cancel our tickets for the Very Merry Christmas Party and can’t get anybody to help???

  3. Disney is on a downhill slide. The new replacement for Fast Passes is expensive and fails to work a majority of the time. The food has also taken a turn for the worse. We regret buying new annual passes.

  4. My wife, sister in law and I were there for that hot mess of a day. It was our daughters first experience of the magic kingdom. Trying to explain to a 3 year old what’s happening was tough. Almost 2 hour wait, but at least they gave us a bottle water. Disney can do better.
