One of the most unique features of The BOATHOUSE at Disney Springs is currently being offered for sale on Facebook.
The restaurant’s Venetian water taxi has been listed on the social media network’s Marketplace section. Previously, the boat was used for private meals on the water. The current asking price stands at $25,000, a steep discount from the initial $100,000 price.
The listing for the 1984 water taxi boasts that the ship measures 38 feet long, weighs 8,000 pounds, and features two Volvo Penta 3.5L engines. A trailer for the boat is also included.
But before you start checking your bank account, it should be noted that there are several repairs that’ll be needed before it’s seaworthy again, possibly connected to the roughly two years of disuse that it’s experienced. According to the listing, the back floor area needs replacement, as well as a new wiring harness, gauges, and alternators. Still, for a Disney history buff with an interest in boat repair (as well as deep pockets), this could prove to be an interesting project!

the woodwork on this boat reminds one of an old chriscraft. the mahogany is just so beautiful. like the old wood boats that still cruise the great lakes. such fine craftsmenship rarely seen today.
