Expedition Everest Closes Tomorrow for Months-Long Refurbishment

If it has been a while since you’ve summited the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas in search of the infamous Yeti, then today is your last chance. Tomorrow, Jan 4, 2022, Expedition Everest will close for a lengthy refurbishment to run through mid-April.

During the more than three months of planned closure, the refurbishment will reportedly address issues with the ride system. At this time, no repairs are planned for the Yeti animatronic.
