Last October, the gift shop Souk-al-Magreb in the Morocco Pavilion of EPCOT closed for a planned refurbishment. After a several-day closure when the Morocco Pavilion’s ownership was taken over by Disney in late-2020, the shop had reopened featuring Aladdin merchandise before closing for a more lengthy refurbishment by the new owner.

Soon, after a full four months of closure, Souk-al-Magreb is planned to reopen. According to Disney’s calendar, February 6 will see the reopening of the shop in the Morocco Pavilion as Disney has remade the space to suit whatever the new offerings, if any, may include.
