The new collection consists of a tote bag, a satchel, a wallet, and a crossbody bag.

The bags were high up and locked in a case. But the bags are a black and white pattern with a brown lining.

We could spot Alice, the Mad Hatter, the Queen of Hearts, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, the White Rabbit, and Cheshire Cat on the bags.

  1. Greetings…all you wonderful ‘Disney Fans’…!

    Hello…

I was born in 1948, and I can still ‘vividly recall’ going to see (…with ‘my parents’ of course…) the very first theatrical release in 1951 of Walt Disney’s ALICE IN WONDERLAND at the ‘long ago’ demolished ‘RKO RADIO PALACE’ located on Clinton Avenue North in Rochester, New York…!

What an ‘absolutely splendid’ movie theater ‘the RKO Palace’ was…crystal chandeliers everywhere…ruby red curtain, drapery [trimmed in gold] and carpeting and plush seating upholstered in ruby red velvet…! And then there were ‘the marble & granite’ staircases that led to ‘the 2nd & 3rd tier’ balconies of the theater if you decided you didn’t want to sit in ‘the orchestra section’ on ‘the 1st floor’ of the building…! Really…it was awesome…!

(…other Disney classics that I can recall ‘playing at the Palace’ included LADY AND THE TRAMP…’the 1st’ ONE HUNDRED AND ONE DALMATIANS…THE SHAGGY DOG…THE ABSENT MINDED PROFESSOR…WESTWARD HO THE WAGONS…SWISS FAMILY ROBINSON…and of course ‘reissues’ of SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS…PINNOCHIO…BAMBI…and DUMBO…to name but a few…!). Those ‘were the days’ as the saying goes…but I digress…

So getting ‘back to ALICE IN WONDERLAND’…when ‘Mr. Disney’ began his weekly television series ‘WALT DISNEY PRESENTS’ in 1954 it really was ‘a big deal’…and to the ‘best of my recollections’ a shorter version/edit of ALICE IN WONDERLAND broadcast in ‘glorious Black & White’ is ‘what premiered’on ‘WALT DISNEY PRESENTS’ way back then…! How times have changed…indeed.

So…several ‘theatrical reissues later’ of ALICE IN WONDERLAND in ‘glorious Technicolor’ (of course) and on ‘home video in high definition’…what ‘an amazing affirmation’ that “life really is good”…!

Eternally speaking, “…kudos to ‘the Walt Disney Company’ and WALT DISNEY’s wonderful vision and legacy…!

(And of course…a since ‘thank you’ to LEWIS CARROLL also…!)

    Best,
    William Paul Johnson, Jr.
