First Roadway Signage with Mickey Ears Installed for Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser

The iconic purple roadway signs were recently removed at Walt Disney World and replaced with blue ones. More are still popping up around the resort, including the first new blue ones with Mickey Mouse ears on top.

Just like with the overhead signs, the first signs on the ground to be replaced are for the upcoming hotel, Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.

This sign is now posted at the entrance of Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.

And this sign is now posted at the parking lot exit of Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

  1. Too much blue from top to bottom… maybe the Mickey head should have remained black. The who thing just seems off for some reason… bland and boring.

I understand the need to modernize (and blue and yellow could make a very nice color pallet), but I honestly think these signs miss the mark.

All I can say is Universal’s property signage will be king after this change.
