Guests With Special Dietary Requests Must Complete Consultation on First Day Aboard Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser guests with special dietary or allergy-friendly requests will need to visit the Crown of Corellia Dining Room between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on the first day of their voyage for a consultation.

During the consultation, the guest will meet with a chef or crew member trained in special diets to discuss and plan for each meal they will have during their experience.

Guests who require pureed meals, adhere to medically restricted diets (such as very low-protein diets), or prefer a kosher or halal meal should contact Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com between 7 and 14 days prior to arrival.

Guests who wish to enjoy a plant-based meal that is made without meat, eggs, dairy, or honey do not need to have a consult. These options will be readily available and marked with a green leaf icon on menus.

The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser site also has this disclaimer: “We use reasonable efforts in our food preparation and handling procedures to avoid the introduction of the named allergens into your menu choices. While we take steps to prevent cross-contact, we do not have separate allergy-friendly kitchens and are unable to guarantee that a menu item is completely free of allergens. Please also note that our allergy-friendly offerings are reliant on supplier ingredient labels and we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the content lists for each food item. Allergen advisory statements (for example, “may contain”) are not regulated and are therefore not taken into consideration when developing allergy-friendly meals. It is ultimately up to your discretion to make an informed choice based on your individual dietary needs.”

This is similar to Disney Cruise Line, which does not necessarily require a consultation for special dietary requests, but does ask guests to inform their head server and features a similar disclaimer on their website.

Guests of Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will also be able to dine at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Time is allotted for visiting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and eating at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, but guests can go to other areas of the park. They should check menus and speak to Cast Members at those dining locations about dietary requests.

Check out some of the food that will be available at Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.
