Kevin Feige Calls ‘Endgame’ the Final Avengers Movie

During the “Making of Eternals” episode of “Marvel Studios: Assembled” on Disney+, Kevin Feige referred to “Avengers: Endgame” as the final Avengers film.

“Marvel Studios and the Marvel Cinematic Universe is now past their tenth anniversary and with the release of the final Avengers movie, we’ve finally completed a 22-movie Infinity Saga,” Fiege said during the special behind-the-scenes episode.

“Avengers: Endgame” was released in 2019 and though many of the characters, including original Avenger Hawkeye, have gone on to appear in more movies and Disney+ series, no “Avengers” branded media has been released for the MCU since. Of course, plans could change, and Feige and others working on the MCU have been known to lie to keep secrets about the franchise.

“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” will be the next MCU film, while “Moon Knight” (starting Oscar Isaac in his Marvel debut) will be the next original Disney+ series.

“Avengers: Endgame” and “Spider-Man: Far From Home” marked the end of the MCU’s “Phase 3.” The newest releases are part of “Phase 4,” which kicked off with the Disney+ original series “WandaVision.”
