Yesterday, we caught a glimpse of the first rockwork at Journey of Water Inspired by “Moana” in EPCOT. Today, the construction site has been expanded and more rockwork added.

The steel tower constructed a week ago remains bare.

This construction site also encompasses Dreamer’s Point, which will house a new Walt Disney statue.

Many small square and rounded pieces of concrete are now scattered across the ground between these structures.

There are also several poles, presumably to hold up future rockwork.

Right now, the rockwork is only around one curved wall. This is where most crew members were when we rode by on the Monorail.

The rocks are shaped with mesh, so are currently see-through.

Pipes run from one structure into the ground.

A long white platform is in front of the steel tower structure. Several construction vehicles are in the dirt beyond it.
There is no opening timeframe for Journey of Water Inspired by “Moana.”
