New Look at Updated Finale Float for Main Street Electrical Parade at Disneyland Park

Main Street Electrical Parade is returning to Disneyland Park this Friday, April 22, with a new finale. The “To Honor America” float has been rethemed to include new, old, and diverse IPs from Disney. We have seen concept art and a brief look at the actual float, but Disneyland is now showing off the complete float for the first time.

The float is inspired by Mary Blair’s art style as seen on “it’s a small world” and features more than a dozen Disney Animation and Pixar stories.

Get a closer look at the float and hear from Main Street Electrical Parade show directors Jordan Peterson and Robin Trowbridge in the video below.

  1. Nice tribute to Mary Blair. I also liked the idea of it. I do wonder if someone does end up making a copy of the old float and then sending to them I bet it would be both floats together in the longest finale in parade history.
