With TRON Lightcycle / Run towering above, construction continues on the Walt Disney World Railroad tunnel in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom.
From Tomorrowland, we can see the two walls of the tunnel sticking out from beneath the coaster canopy.
One wall ends with rebar sticking out, suggesting it will be further extended. Inside the tunnel, there are square windows on the walls.
A curved roof has yet to be installed on this side of the tunnel and there are no tracks running through the construction site yet.
Further down the tunnel, we can see a temporary support structure beneath the concrete walkway.
On the other side of the coaster, visible from Storybook Circus, a curved roof has been installed over some of the tunnel.
The top of the roof is covered in white paneling, while corrugated metal is visible on the underside.
It looks like some white paneling has already been installed on the underside to begin covering the metal.
The curved roof only extends partially under the walkway for now.
Elsewhere in Magic Kingdom, the Walter E. Disney locomotive is testing new sections of the Walt Disney World Railroad track.
