Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Individual Lightning Lane Starting at $17

When Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind opens to the public at EPCOT tomorrow, individual Lightning Lane access to the attraction will start at $17.

After the holiday weekend, starting on May 31, the individual Lightning Lane price will be $14. We may see it go back up to $17, however, during weekends and holidays – such as July 4.

Guests don’t have to purchase Lightning Lane access to ride Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. They can instead sign up for the virtual queue, which will open at 7:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. each day.

  1. And I can bet ILL will sell out.
When this thing (ILL and Genie Plus) first began, I sat back with my proverbial popcorn and watched the complaint roll in. And I told myself, yeah, but there are people like me who are willing to purchase it and would even PREFER to purchase it rather than stand in line. I don’t come to Disney to stand in 2-3 hour lines. Even if I had to change my touring style (give up ADR’S etc), I was okay with ILL. What is my problem now… ILL’s sell out just like fastpasses would become unavailable. The problem has not been solved.
I am one who is sticking to the story that all parks need to open at 8am and shut down at 12 Midnight (Pay some part-timers who might be interested in an after work or after school job). I understand how Disney works and I always have enough time to experience everything in my itinerary. But I have always found it near criminal that someone who might only be visiting the park for 1-2-3 days might not be able to experience an E-Ticket ride. Something just plain wrong about that. EVERYONE and ANYONE who has purchased a ticket should be able to get on the popular rides, even if they only have 1-2 days in that park.

  2. Or if people dont mind waiting virtual queue cms said will be off by october bc uppers want everyone on it by 40th.

  3. Dad says, “Hey kids, we gotta skip lunch today so we can purchase ILL for Guardians. Just drink extra water, I think water is still free”
