At Disney Upfront 2022, Kevin Feige revealed that “Loki” was the biggest Marvel Cinematic Universe show on Disney+ last year, edging out others such as “WandaVision” and “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier”.

On stage in New York, Feige stated that “Loki” was a “bold swing” that paid off well, being the first MCU series to net a second season. He also confirmed that the second season of “Loki” will enter production “in the coming weeks” with all of the original cast. “Moon Knight” directing duo Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead have been tapped to direct the second season.
