Rockwork continues to be shaped at the site of Journey of Water Inspired by “Moana,” a new walkthrough attraction coming to EPCOT.

The rockwork is now surrounded by scaffolding, which crew members were on this morning.

On the ground in front of it, other crew members were working on a rectangular wooden structure.

The rockwork has been steadily growing for just over a week.

The mesh used to create the rocks and spray-painted numbers for the workers are still visible.

More and more vertical poles have gone up around other structures.

  1. I appreciate the pictures but can wdwnt get someone with a little construction knowledge to review these posts? the “wood boxes” are forms for concrete pours. The “mesh used to shape the rocks” is wire mesh reinforcement for the concrete work.
