REVIEW: 50th Annniversary Tropical Serenade Churro Lacks Promised Pineapple Flavor at Magic Kingdom

Hey Michael, mi amigo, pay attention, it’s churro time! As the 50th Anniversary celebration continues at Walt Disney World, a new Tropical Serenade-themed churro has made its way to the churro cart on Main Street U.S.A. at the Magic Kingdom!

Tropical Serenade Churro – $7.25

Rolled in Pineapple Sugar and drizzled with Marshmallow Cream topped with Sugar Flowers

This very tropical-looking churro is sold right next door to the Tropical Serenade, now known of course as Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room.

It’s covered in yellow sugar, white marshmallow topping, and sugar flower ornamentations.

Unfortunately, this just tastes like a regular churro with marshmallow sauce. The most pineapple part of this is the candied pineapple pieces that came with, but there’s really no pineapple flavor in the actual churro at all.

Rather than waste your time with this, we would instead recommend the Royal 50th Churro in Frontierland if you’re in the mood for a churro with marshmallow sauce. At least with that, you get chocolate sauce to compliment. If your hope is pineapple churro, though, you’ll be supremely disappointed here.
