Yesterday, we reported that the iconic Twilight Zone Tower of Terror billboard would be removed, and spotted construction equipment at the site. Crews moved quickly overnight and the billboard is now completely gone.
As if it has vanished into the 5th dimension, the Tower is gone.
Some structural elements could still be seen amid the piles of dirt.

It was kind of cheesy, so I’m not too bummed about it.
Not only removed, it was totally chopped up, shredded and loaded into a dumpster. I didn’t see what happened to the landscaping, but it was all gone in 24hrs. Maybe it was in the way of a planned road project, otherwise I can’t see a good reason to spend the effort to remove it.
