Hours Extended at All Four Walt Disney World Theme Parks Through October 1

Guests will have more time to enjoy the Walt Disney World theme parks as hours have been extended from August 28 through October 1. The park hours were previously extended from July 31 through August 27.

Magic Kingdom

On August 30 and September 2, 5, 9, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, 23, 25, 27, 29, and 30, the Magic Kingdom will open at 8:00 a.m., with early entry for resort guests at 7:30 a.m., and close at 6:00 p.m. for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

The park will open at 9:00 a.m. but close at 10:00 p.m. on September 12 and 19.

For all other dates between August 28 and October 1, the park will still open at 9:00 a.m. but will now close at 11:00 p.m. The select dates with extended evening hours for resort guests will now be from 11:00 p.m. through 1:00 a.m.

EPCOT

EPCOT will now be open from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily from August 28 through October 1, except on September 8, when the park will not open until 9:00 a.m.

Early entry will begin daily at 8:00 a.m. for hotel guests each day, except September 8, when it will begin at 8:30 a.m.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios will also now open at 8:30 a.m. from August 28 through October 1, except on September 8, when the park will not open until 9:00 a.m.

Early entry will begin daily at 8:00 a.m. for hotel guests each day, except September 8, when it will begin at 8:30 a.m.

The park will close nightly at 9:00 p.m.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Finally, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will still open at 8:00 a.m. but will now close an hour later, at 8:00 p.m, on Saturdays and Sundays only from August 28 through October 1.

  1. all i can say is it is about time. now hows about bring back so many other things chapek has eliminated?

  2. Bummer I made Cinderella table reservations at 8 to get an early in and pics of the castle.. hopefully not to many people enter at 730 😢
