Louie’s Bar & Grill at Universal Studios Florida is serving up Reuben fries and classic pizza fries during Halloween Horror Nights 31.
Reuben Fries – $11.70
Crinkle cut fries, topped with shaved corn beef, mozzarella cheese, sauerkraut, thousand island dressing, and everything seasoning
These are really tasty! There’s ample and good quality corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss, and Thousand Island, with a touch of poppy seeds on top.
This has a great flavor combo, and even those of us who aren’t big fans of Reubens really enjoyed this. Dare we say, we preferred them to the pizza fries on our visit — they are a unique and well-executed dish that brings something refreshingly different.
Classic Pizza Fries – $10.99
Crinkle cut fries, topped with marinara sauce, melted cheese, pepperoni, and sausage
These park favorites do not disappoint. Louie’s is the place to get them as the fries are actually fried (not baked). Our batch was a bit light on pepperoni but otherwise very tasty. A nice bed of tangy sauce, crinkle-cut fries topped with mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage crumbles, and grated Parmesan. The sauce has an even better flavor than in the past, a welcome little plus to this already great snack.
