Volcano Bay & CityWalk Team Members Asked to Report Tomorrow, Select Overnight Team Members Reporting to Universal Orlando Resort Tonight as Reopening Work Continues

As Universal Orlando Resort prepares to embark on its phased reopening of the parks and destinations at the resort, some Universal Orlando Team Members working the overnight shift are being asked to report to the resort this evening to begin prep work. Additionally, general Team Members at two locations have been asked to come in as scheduled tomorrow.

Team Members at Volcano Bay and Universal CityWalk Orlando have been asked to report as scheduled tomorrow. Additionally, overnight Team Members working in certain departments like landscaping, tech services, and park services were also asked to come to work this evening in preparation for the resort’s reopening.

Universal Orlando Resort is set to conduct a phased reopening starting tomorrow for hotel guests only. There’s no word yet on what facilities will be available to guests, nor any update on the Halloween Horror Nights events scheduled for the rest of the weekend. But it seems possible Volcano Bay and CityWalk could be open for resort guests only tomorrow.

  1. I’m telling you now almost no one went in last night for park services. Volcano bay had 4 people show up and it was only management. No one showed up for IOA as far as I know, no one answered the park 10 phone all night. There’s no way the park will be open today.
