DVC News has shared images from Disney Files Magazine of the planned refurbishment for the Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
This image is of a villa living space with a new pull-down bed over the sofa. There is new artwork, rugs, and curtains.
Above the dining bench are fake travel posters for “Whispering Canyon,” “Lake Elias,” and “Big Basin.”
Artwork shows curtains decorated with Grizzly Peak and a throw pillow featuring a mountainous landscape.
A mural of Mickey and Minnie in a canoe and new tile is above the bathtub.
The Deluxe Studio villas also have new pull-down beds and custom artwork.
Another pull-down bed is beneath the flat-screen TV, as an extension of a new storage unit.

THE WORST PART ABOUT THEIR REFURBISHMENTS IS THE ELIMINATION OF THE SPA TUBS US OLDER FOLKS REALLY LIKE AFTER TROMPING ALL DAY THROUGH THE PARKS. they got rid of the spa tubs at saratoga resort and silent spa now. when we bought dvc at saratoga that was a huge selling point for us! i wonder if boulder ridge villas have the hot tub on the back porch like copper creek does?
i guess my comments about refurbishment and elimination of spa tubs was too critical of disney for you guys to handle. better up your game! ever tried one of their soaker tubs they are replacing the spa tubs with?? it is like trying to remove yourself from octopus tentacles if you are of a certain age! and yes, i do not go to disney as often as you, but have spent a lot on dvc points! dang tom, do you review what your censors are doing to your sight? or am i just too negative about their new stuff for you?
People call us negative all the time, we just haven’t been moderating comments lately, calm down lol
