with Cilantro Oil and crispy Garbanzos
If you are a fan of mac and cheese, this is going to be the dish for you! The cheese sauce is delicate and complements the curry. Even for those who are not major cilantro fans, the cilantro oil adds a fantastic taste to the dish, leaving a fresh green note.
The garbanzo beans are not the star of the dish and tend to take a backseat to the rest of the ingredients. This meal is easily one of the best that the festival has to offer here at Disney California Adventure.
Lox & Everything Bagel Nachos – $8.50
Bagel Chips, Cream Cheese, Diced Smoked Salmon, Everything Spice, and mixture of Onions, Tomatoes & Capers
The Lox and Everything Bagel Nachos have been missing from the festival since 2018 and returned to A Twist on Tradition this year with an increase of an entire dollar. Price increase aside, we all agreed that the salmon was good, but the bagel chips underneath were a bit odd for the pairing. Still, this item is worth trying if you are a fan of salmon and dill flavors!
*NEW* Guava-Melon Lassi – $7.00
Guava Nectar, Rock Melon Syrup, Nonfat Yogurt, and Honey, garnished with Cinnamon Whipped Cream and Honey-flavored Cereal
This is a wonderful, light, creamy non-alcoholic drink that is perfectly balanced. The tropical fruit flavor is the primary taste; however, it does not overpower the creaminess and the cinnamon-spiced whipped cream, which makes it more of a festive drink for the season! We thoroughly enjoyed this drink, almost preferring it over the many alcoholic beverages available here as well. We will definitely be returning for this one many times over.
Festival of Holidays will run at Disney California Adventure from November 11, 2022, to January 8, 2023. Not only will guests be able to enjoy the A Twist on Traditions booth, but the following booths will also be available with delicious offerings to indulge in, such as:

The festival will also showcase Disney ¡Viva Navidad!, which will take place in Paradise Gardens Park, as well as World of Color – Season of Light, Mater’s Jingle Jamboree, and Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl. Of course, Disneyland Park is full of holiday offerings as well, with A Christmas Fantasy Parade, “it’s a small world” Holiday (as well as “it’s a small world” Holiday Lighting), “Believe… In Holiday Magic” fireworks, Wintertime Enchantment at Sleeping Beauty Castle, and the beloved Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay, where guests can see iconic characters such as Jack Skellington and Sally from “The Nightmare Before Christmas” come to life!
