Aptly named for the parade during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, the new Once Upon a Christmastime Tart is available at Sunshine Tree Terrace.

Chocolate and cranberry tart with Mickey Ears

This has a great crunchy tart base that’s a nice texture contrast to the creamy mousse on top.The mousse is supposed to be cranberry and chocolate, but we thought it tasted more like raspberry. There just wasn’t any tartness to it.

Overall this is good, but not our favorite treat at the party. We wouldn’t turn our nose at it by any means, but maybe take your attention somewhere else if you’re looking to only hit the highlights.

The tart is available exclusively during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, a separately ticketed event taking place on select nights from November 8 through December 22.
