The Walt Disney Company has reported its earnings for both quarter four and the full 2022 fiscal year, with a total of $82 billion in revenue.
The company was projected to make a revenue of $84.86 billion, up 25.9% year over year. They did not meet the expectation, reaching only 23% over 2021.
When it comes to profit, the adjusted margin for EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization) was expected to rise to 19.1% in the 2022 fiscal year, up from 17.7% in 2021. This is still down from the 25.9% reached in 2019.
