BREAKING: Walt Disney World to Implement Park Specific Pricing for 1 Day 1 Park Tickets

Starting on December 8, Walt Disney World will implement park-specific pricing for one day, one park tickets.

Price ranges for each park are as follows:

  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom: $109-$159 (same range as today)
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios: $124-$179
  • EPCOT: $114-$179
  • Magic Kingdom Park: $124-$189

At this time, the $189 price at Magic Kingdom is only for nine days around Christmas and New Year’s Eve (currently priced at $159). In addition, when guests purchase a one-day, one-park ticket, “the system automatically books a park reservation for you.” It does not happen with one-day park hopper or multi-day tickets.

The price to add a park hopper option to your ticket will also vary by date. However, the pricing is not yet available.

It’s being reported that multi-day tickets and other types of park tickets are expected to increase starting December 8, but pricing is not yet available for those categories.

Walt Disney World has utilized park-specific pricing in the past. Previously, Magic Kingdom ticket prices were higher than the price for EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

  1. I have visited Disney world at least 20 times my lifetime but the pricing is now so high it seems it is only for the elite. I have always loved Disney but the fact that they are pricing out the average family hurts my heart. I am sorry so many people will not be able experience the joy that is Disney world.
