Celebrate the Oscars with Limited-Time Treats and Photo-Ops at Walt Disney World

The 95th Academy Awards are just around the corner, and guests visiting Walt Disney World will have the chance to celebrate the Oscars with specialty-themed food options and photo opportunities.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios will feature a number of Oscars-themed treats, including a specialty popcorn and a tropical dessert with a decorative topper. The treats will be available through Sunday, March 12, when the live awards night celebration commences.

Around the park, guests can stop by select popcorn carts for a specialty popcorn blend created especially for the awards. Served in a shiny gold bag, this Oscars treat looks like a safe choice, but you might be surprised by what’s inside. The Oscars95 Popcorn Blend offers kettle corn with cinnamon cereal, white chocolate, and gold sprinkles.

The bag is branded with a label announcing that guests can tune in to the 95th Academy Awards on Sunday, March 12, live on ABC. The Oscars Popcorn Mix has been available across Hollywood Studios over the past week, so we decided to give it a try. Read our full review to see if this is a snack you might think is Oscar-worthy.

For a more adventurous Academy Awards treat, guests can stop by the ABC Commissary for a tropical tart topped with an Oscars chocolate coin. This tropical tart treat appears to be the same treat the studio-inspired dining hub rolled out for guests last year.

The graham cracker tart is filled with a mango-passion fruit curd and topped with whipped raspberry-vanilla bean panna cotta, toasted coconut, and dehydrated strawberry and passion fruit for more tropical flavors.

The chocolate gold medallion on top is used to transform this treat into a special Academy Awards offering. Check out our full review of this treat, sans Oscar95 Chocolate Coin, from when it debuted at the ABC Commissary last March.

The ABC Commissary will be decorated for the Academy Awards, featuring movie art from this year’s nominees. Whether or not you decide to try the tropical tart, it may be worth a stop in your travels to see what artwork is being featured.

Disney Springs will also be featuring an Oscars photo wall for guests looking to capture a selfie of their own red carpet looks.
