We made a visit Kidani Village at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas for a special Valentine’s Day at Sanaa with this “Bananas For…” dessert.

Banana cake, peanut butter mousse, banana jam, banana cream, candied almonds, and caramel
If you’ve frequented WDWNT.com or our shows for any amount of time, you know that Sanaa is our favorite restaurant anywhere, and that’s not only for the signature bread service. The desserts are always fantastic, but we keep coming back for the Spice Trader Candy Bar. However, since this two-night-only dessert was available, we decided to give it a shot.
The banana cream is located at the center of the pill shaped peanut butter mousse. Underneath is the banana cake.
Banana and peanut butter is not everybody’s thing, but if it is yours, this is worth a try. It’s a nice, shareable portion size, the soft peanut butter mousse isn’t over powering in flavor, nor is the banana purée inside of it. There’s a we’ll-balanced flavor ratio of banana and peanut butter in every bite. The cake offers a moist and flavorful base that is well accented by dollops of sweet cream and a very sweet caramel sauce (which may be too sweet on this already rich dessert). All together, it is a solid dessert option should you be dining here on February 13-14, 2023.
