“When I started with the company, our division was called Universal Recreation Services Group,” stated Woodbury. “We had Hollywood Studio Tour and National Park concessions. When we expanded east to Orlando and added hotels, we changed our name to Universal Parks & Resorts. Now this continued growth and transformation brings with it a new opportunity to express our unique offerings to guests, team members, and partners in a new way. So, I am thrilled to officially announce that we are changing the name of our division from Universal Parks & Resorts to Universal Destinations & Experiences.”

  1. maybe di$ney could try changing the name of the four parks to the four golden fleeces to better reflect their business model too?

  2. I’m really happy for universal and all that they are currently doing, but i’m really not digging this name here. It’s too literal, like yeah theme parks/travel spots are destinations/experiences but it just sounds so bland.
