Good Morning, and happy Sunday, pals! Today, we are headed to Disney’s Magic Kingdom to check on some construction updates, find some new Easter goodies, check out the new clock in Tomorrowland, and more! Grab your favorite Mickey ears and let’s go!!

“The magic is calling!” We are at the Magic Kingdom’s Transportation & Ticket Center in our favorite park shoes, headed for the monorail!

We have arrived at the front gates of Magic Kingdom and are headed straight to Main Street! We are in the final month of Disney’s 50th Anniversary Celebration, so make sure you get your photos in front of the 50th Anniversary “World’s Most Magical Celebration” sign before its gone!

Candy for breakfast?! Perhaps the smells pouring out of The Confectionary aren’t enough to convince you to start your day with a sweet treat, but these new Easter & St. Patricks Day treats spotted inside will have you thinking candy for breakfast may not be the worst idea.

We spotted candy apples with pastel M&M’s for Easter, along with green & white M&M covered candy apples for St. Paddy’s day, which is just around the corner. These are $12.99 each.

Mickey shaped Rice Krispies snacks featuring the same pastel & green M&M’s we saw on the candy apples are also available for $6.49 each.

Don’t forget matching Mickey cake pops for $5.49 each. For more Easter-themed sweet treats, check out The Grand Cottage and Easter egg display returning to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa on March 7th — just a monorail trip away from Magic Kingdom!

As we continued down Main Street, we hopped into The Emporium and came across this new 2023 Mickey Mouse Easter Bunny plush doll.

Earlier this week we spotted a purple Minnie Mouse Easter Bunny plush, but today an adorable Mickey has finally arrived! This Mickey Mouse Bunny Ear plush features metallic purple floppy bunny ears and feet and a tiny little yellow flower around his neck, matching the one we also saw on Minnie. This plush is $29.99.

“Disney 2023” is embroidered on the bottom of Mickey’s foot.

After wrapping up some shopping on Main Street, we are headed to Frontierland to check in on some changes and construction updates near Splash Mountain.

Good morning, Liver Lips! While passing The Country Bear Jamboree, we saw Liver Lips down from his balcony and taking pictures with guests this morning. We have seen the Bears mostly up on their rooftop just above the attraction for socially-distanced greetings since 2020, but they’ve been coming down more and more for guest interactions and photos.

As we keep walking down the path in Frontierland, we are headed to check on any updates to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

The transformation of Splash Mountain into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure continues, as more scaffolding goes up and construction workers continue to focus on the bottom of the flume. This week, we saw more facades demolished. Things were quiet today, so we are sure to see more action in the coming weeks. We will keep you updated!

We also saw one of the last two remaining pressed penny machines featuring Splash Mountain-themed pennies disappear.

Back in January, we saw one pressed penny machine return just across from the former “Laughing Place” play area. This week, we saw it disappear yet again, leaving us with one pressed penny machine currently located near the restrooms by the former exit to the attraction.

This machine still features Splash Mountain-themed pressed pennies. We will keep an eye out if this machine find a new home or disappears.

From Frontierland, we headed toward Tomorrowland where, sadly, Space Mountain seemed to be down temporarily.

Just to the left of Space Mountain, we spotted a new look for the clock on top of the Light & Power building.

A new paint job uses the old art deco lettering, but with a splash of blue and gold.

Time for a quick hop on the Peoplemover for a birds eye view of the continued construction on the Tomorrowland Light & Power building.

With annual passholder previews of TRON kicking off, we weren’t surprised when we didn’t spot construction crews working on the side of the building. It seems that efforts to repaint and repave bricks in this locale will resume later this week.

Speaking of construction, on our monorail ride back to the Transportation & Ticket Center, we caught up with the Disney Vacation Club construction happening just outside of Magic Kingdom at Disney’s Polynesian Resort.

The former location of Disney’s Spirit of Aloha dinner show will soon be a new Disney Vacation Club wing at Disney’s Polynesian Resort. This week, we spotted more walls going up on the project, framing out future villas. Cranes were out this morning, but no workers were spotted. We will continue to update you as progress continues!

Thank you for joining us this morning for our trip to Magic Kingdom! Until next time folks!
