To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi,” — which premiered on May 23, 1983 —Disney has released a whole new line of merchandise. We stopped by Star Traders in Disneyland to check it out.
Jabba the Hutt T-Shirt – $36.99
Disney has released a ton of new merchandise to celebrate the 40th anniversary of “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.” First up, we have this mustard yellow colored t-shirt featuring a screen art picture of Jabba the Hutt lounging on his dais with Salacious B. Crumb.
Below Jabba’s picture, is a rectangular logo that includes the “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi” logo with a lightsaber blade between the numbers of a 40.
Princess Leia & Wicket T-Shirt – $39.99
This t-shirt features Princess Leia and Wicket W. Warrick sitting on a log. The “Star Wars” logo is printed above them.
The “Return of the Jedi” 40th Anniversary logo is on the back of the shirt.
Ewoks Youth T-Shirt – $31.99
This youth t-shirt shows two Ewoks, Wicket and Princess Kneesaa working together to plant a tree. Below the Ewoks, is the “Star Wars” logo. The shirt features distressed screen art and short puff sleeves with elastic cuffs.
The back of the shirt has the “Return of the Jedi” 40th Anniversary logo.
Return of the Jedi Mug – $16.99
This stoneware mug has a logo for “Return of the Jedi” 40th Anniversary on one side.
On the other side of the mug, we see Luke Skywalker and Yoda on the planet of Dagobah.
Return of the Jedi Youth Ringer T-Shirt – $26.99
The youth ringer t-shirt is heather gray. The “Return of the Jedi” 40th Anniversary logo is at the top of the shirt, right above the grid of characters.
The characters featured on the shirt are: Chewbacca, Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Darth Vader, Jabba the Hutt, The Emperor, Yoda, Wicket, C-3PO, and R2-D2.
A 40th anniversary “ticket” is in a clear plastic patch below the characters.
Wicket Ewok Cuddleez Plush – $39.99
This large 25″ Cuddleez plush of Wicket W. Warrick is also available to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of “Return of the Jedi.” He is featured in his distinctive hood and has embroidered features.
He is designed to lay flat and is seen here taking a nap.
Ewoks Collectible Figure Set – $125.00
The Ewoks are heavily featured in the “Return of the Jedi” 40th Anniversary collection. This is because it was the first “Star Wars” film that they appeared in. The Collectible Figurine features seven fully sculpted Ewoks on a scenic set piece. It also features Stormtroopers helmets and Ewok weaponry.
The back of the packaging gives you a closer look at the front and back of the collectible figurine.
Return of the Jedi Long Sleeve Shirt – $36.99
This black and white long sleeve shirt has contrasting neck and raglan sleeves. It features the “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi” 40th Anniversary logo printed on the front. There is a lightsaber blade dividing the numbers of the “40.” There is also a woven “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi” tag on the side seam.
Ewok Horn – $14.99
This horn is a replica of the horns the Ewoks use to alert the Rebels of incoming Stormtroopers. It features faux wood detailing and a shoulder strap — making it convenient to carry anywhere. If you blow into the horn, it makes a sound.
Ewok Bow and Arrow Set – $29.99
This Ewok Bow and Arrow set includes one bow, four arrows, and a quiver with a shoulder strap. Like the Ewok horn, it also features faux wood detailing.
“Ewoks” is written on the side of the quiver.
