New décor has been added to The Burger Digs and Jurassic Outfitters at Universal’s Islands of Adventure to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the original Jurassic Park film.
30th Anniversary Décor at The Burger Digs
We stopped at The Burger Digs quick service restaurant in Islands of Adventure today and noticed some of the new art on the walls. This building also houses the Jurassic Park discovery center.
A large mural is stretched across a portion of the dining area, featuring the classic Jurassic Park logo with “30th Anniversary” written below on a banner similar to the one ripped down by a T-Rex near the end of the film. There is a giant T-Rex situated directly on the left and a notorious venom-spitting Dilophosaurus on the right.
30th Anniversary Décor at Jurassic Outfitters
Next, we stopped into Jurassic Outfitters, at the exit of the Jurassic Park River Adventure, to see new commemorative 30th motifs along the shelves.
On the top center of the wall, the original entrance gate is portrayed, with lit torches on either side. A similar real-life version of this can be viewed at the entrance to this area from the direction of Hogsmeade and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
On this merchandise wall, there is a T-Rex wreaking havoc. On either adjacent side, 30th anniversary logos are now up.
Another T-Rex is protrudes a palm-laden sunset reminiscent of Isla Nublar, the original setting for the franchise.
Jurassic Park 30th Anniversary decorations are littered throughout the shop.
On top of the U-Design Kiosk, there is a 3D cutout of a Velociraptor as well.
How have you been celebrating this milestone for the classic dinosaur flick? Let us know in the comments.
