Coca-Cola Freestyle fans rejoice! A new location to refresh and refill has arrived at Universal Studios Florida. The snack stand by the Music Plaza Stage, across from Minion Cafe, has reopened with the addition of 3 new Freestyle machines. Let’s take a closer look.
Universal Studios Florida has been getting a lot of updates lately, from new attractions to refurbished snack stands. Everywhere you look, it seems like something is getting updated and we love to see it. As part of the changes around Production Central, the snack stand in Music Plaza has gotten a new look. The stand has been surrounded by walls and under construction for a few weeks, and now we can see the finished product. The building got an addition on the side which now houses 3 brand new Coca-Cola Freestyle machines. Coca-Cola Freestyle cups are essential for a day at Universal Orlando, so having more Freestyle machines available is always exciting. You can also find machines at the new Avenue Eats stand across from Revenge of the Mummy as well as inside Minion Cafe.
Last year, Universal Studios’ Classic Monsters Cafe closed permanently, along with the Bone Chillin’ Beverages kiosk that housed 3 Coca-Cola Freestyle machines. Now that the construction walls are down around this stand and the new Minion Cafe, there are even more locations to fill up at.
The menu at the newly reopened snack stand seems a little lacking, though. There are hot dogs, churros, pretzels, and chips available, along with beer and bottled beverages. This stand was known for its Frozen Jack and Coke and as of now, the machine has not returned to the stand. We’ll be keeping an eye on it and waiting for its return.
