We noticed the new building behind some fake foliage walls on a recent trip.

The unfinished building is taking shape on the former Tri-Circle-D ranch location. A white barricade is also set up near the temporary wall, though it did not appear to be blocking pedestrian access to anything but a line of bushes near the wall.

Beyond the new building, a large area is hidden from view behind the temporary wall. The building has progressed very quickly over the last few days.

Reports suggest the building will be for Cast Member usage, but nothing has been officially confirmed at this time.
Uncertain Future for Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge Project Land Area

At the end of June, Walt Disney Imagineering filed to extend STOLport permit that was connected to Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge. The project has been long rumored to be cancelled, but Disney has not made any formal announcements despite halting construction in the area. The STOLport permit area is not directly near this new building. The rest of the land has not been further developed, but in the interim between the initial 2018 announcement of the Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge project and now, the Tri-Circle D Ranch was fully rebuilt and relocated from this original site. Initially, the move was to accommodate the construction of Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge (as well as offer some upgrades to the facility). Since then, however, Walt Disney Imagineering filed permits to remove construction offices related to the project, further substantiating the rumor that the project has been quietly cancelled.
